Kyle W. Buchan, DC, ACN, FIAMA
Dr. Buchan received his doctorate of chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College where he was a deans list student, was inducted into the Omega Psi academic honor fraternity, and was a member of the Council on Sports Injury (COSI). His undergraduate studies in biomedical science were completed at Midwestern State University and Texas A&M University, where he also played on the university soccer teams. As part of his training he completed clinical internships and rotations in family medicine, chiropractic, and orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
He has attended numerous postgraduate continuing education courses on nutrition, sports injuries, and a variety of treatment techniques. Dr. Buchan has achieved certification as a Protect Your Back instructor with the American Red Cross and has an Applied Clinical Nutrition (A.C.N.) certification. He is also certified in acupuncture through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). In addition, Dr. Buchan is Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
Dr. Buchan served seven years on the Board of Directors for the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce, served 5 years as race director for the Lake Houston 10K/5K, has served on the Community Advisory Panel for Kingwood Medical Center, has experience as a treating chiropractor for the Houston Dynamo professional soccer team, and has coached several youth soccer teams, including Creekwood Middle School. He has been a guest healthcare expert on Fox Morning News and was one of three finalist for the 2011 Health Care Professional of the Year Award. In 2015, Dr. Buchan was honored to receive the first ever Chairman’s Award from the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce for his service to the community and the development of the Lake Houston 10K/5K. Dr. Buchan enjoys golf, running and playing soccer. He is originally from San Antonio, is married to his beautiful wife Marie, and has two sons, Kade and Drake.
M. Cody McComb, D.C.
Dr. McComb received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College. As part of his training he completed clinical internships in family medicine, chiropractic, and wellness programs. He has attended numerous postgraduate seminars on nutrition, sports injuries, and a variety of treatment techniques. He is a native Houstonian who received his undergraduate from Stephen F. Austin State University in the oldest city in Texas, Nacogdoches.
Dr. McComb grew up playing sports (baseball, football, basketball, etc.) which in turn gave way to sports injuries throughout the years. Those injuries are what led him to chiropractic at the ripe age of 12. Since then, chiropractic was what he wanted to do with his life. Dr. McComb has been a member of the Kiwanis Club in Kingwood and served as a race captain for the Lake Houston 10K/5K. Dr. McComb is now married to his beautiful wife, Lori, and daddy to two wonderful baby girls, Mia and Lorin.
